Firefighters Extinguish Small Electrical Blaze At Riverhead Motel
No injuries were reported, fire officials say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Firefighters knocked down a small blaze at the Greenview Inn in Riverhead last week, officials said.
According to the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department, the small electrical fire broke out at the West Main Street motel on December 21 around 5 p.m. and was quickly extinguished, with PSEG helping to handle the electrical issues.
“No one was injured,” the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department told Patch. “Our guys did a good job of knocking it down.”
